Rich and I decided to go check out a little shop that I follow on Instagram. It’s a co-op of several cottage industry companies based in Shanghai. It’s appropriately called the Pantry (@pantrysh).

When we arrived there we found out they were having a one year anniversary party!

We tried a delicious bagel sandwich and enjoyed some of their party treats. The bagels are made by Spread the Bagel (@spreadthebagel) – an American expat who has started an amazing bagel business in Shanghai. They deliver the bagels to your home or work and are DELICIOUS! Highly recommend!!

It was a fun day!

We finally had a sunny day with a slight breeze.

After my Mandarin class I headed out for a little shopping and some sightseeing!

I took an interesting ride called the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel. Basically it is a little monorail like car that takes you under the Huangpu River to get you from one part of Shanghai (Puxi) to the other (Pudong). It has flashing lights and takes about 5 minutes. It’s a little hokey but I’m glad I did it!
