I entered the Huaihai Lu UNIQLO store in Shanghai on Tuesday and was in my happy place! The store has dedicated a major portion of their 4 level building to Dismey displays and product. I was a little overwhelmed!
They even are selling cool patches so you can customize your own clothes.

I was so excited to attend her class on kebabs. I always thought of kebabs as different meats on a stick. But It turns out it means anything grilled/cooked.

Today I took part in a tour of a very old Shanghai ink factory. I honestly had no idea what to expect but it was really interesting!
This type of ink is used for calligraphy and it actually is in a block format and the artist would then grind it and add water to use it.
It is made with soot, ting oil, lard and sesame oil.
