It was built by Victor Sassoon and completed in 1929.<\/p>\n<p>It originally housed Sassoon&#8217;s offices and residence, then became the Cathay Hotel and in 2010 it became the Fairmont Peace Hotel after a 3 year renovation.<\/p>\n<p>The architecture is amazing and was built in the Art Deco style.<\/p>\n<p>So beautiful!<\/p>\n<p><div style=\"width: 490px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/livefoodtravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/img_0775.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/livefoodtravel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/img_0775.jpg\" title=\"\" class=\"size-medium\"><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Beautiful stained glass.
