We leave Athens and arrive in Santorini’s small\/quant airport. Wow – not sure what I expected but it is even better!<\/p>\n
Our hotel on Oia is great – we each have our own rooms and the view is amazing. The one challenge….we have to climb down about 30 crazy, rocky steps to get to the hotel.<\/p>\n
Lunch is a beautiful salad and (probably the best ever) spanakopita.<\/p>\n
We stroll around Oia shopping for the rest of the day. Unfortunately, no sunset but we have fantastic pita and ouzo at a restaurant as a early evening snack.<\/p>\n
Fantastic dinner! Wrapped shrimp, chilled octopus salad and spicy pasta – yum!<\/p>\n
