{"id":1239,"date":"2013-04-22T07:07:28","date_gmt":"2013-04-22T07:07:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/livefoodtravel.com\/?p=1239"},"modified":"2013-04-22T07:13:24","modified_gmt":"2013-04-22T07:13:24","slug":"yesterday-in-athens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/livefoodtravel.com\/?p=1239","title":{"rendered":"Yesterday in Athens!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What a wonderful day in Athens!<\/p>\n<p>My cousin Deme and I started our day with a wonderful breakfast in our hotel.<\/p>\n<p>On our walk to the Acropolis I enjoyed my favorite Greek drink &#8211; an espresso freddo (I have been thinking about them since the last time Rich and I were here!)<\/p>\n<p>Then the Acropolis &#8211; what more can I say&#8230;&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>We spent the afternoon eating and shopping in Plaka.<\/p>\n<p>My friend Julia joined Deme and I in the evening to take us to a beach restaurant for a drink to watch the sunset.  What a fabulous view and it was so great to catch up with Julia.
